Help promote awareness of sexual assault, abuse and violence while we donate 10% of profits to help support sexual assault services in our communities. 
 
A traditional, classic t-shirt known for its soft feel and perfect fit, wash after wash. We hand pull all our shirts using only eco-friendly, water-based inks that result in a soft, “no feel” print and vintage look after repeated wash and wear. We chose to step away from the thick plastisol inks of the past to ensure higher safety standards while providing a softer, better feeling print.

  • April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and I feel the best way to fight the stigma around sexual abuse is through transparency. I also hope sharing my story inspires others to start their own healing journey.

    My name is Jackie and I am the CEO of Best Best Co. Throughout multiple years of my childhood I was sexually abused. As a result, I have struggled with depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and anxiety. I spent most of my life hiding my pain and suffering, partly to protect my loved ones but mostly because I did not want to face the trauma I endured. At one point, it became so overwhelming that I tried to take my own life.

    I carry around the weight of my abuse on a daily basis. I still suffer from PTSD and continue to have nightmares. There are days where I feel lost, confused and angry but I try to pause, breathe and bring myself back into a positive mindset. I know I will never feel “normal” but have learned healthy ways to stay strong, cope and strive to be the best version of myself I can be. It’s not easy to live with but it doesn’t define me. I’m so grateful I kept hanging on and moving forward to be here to tell my story. It’s been a long process, but if I’m going to continue to heal and grow, I need to speak it out loud and use my voice and passion to help others.

    I wanted to design/create a meaningful message to remind us all that no matter what you’ve been through, no matter what your past is, you are MORE. You are more than a statistic. You are more than a survivor. You are more than the shame and guilt you might feel about yourself. YOU ARE MORE and you are important. Best Best Co. hopes to inspire and remind anyone who is struggling with mental illness, abuse, or just life in general - or have a loved one who has or is - that you are not alone.

     

    It’s ok to admit you’re struggling. It’s ok to feel like you can’t control anything. Just know that there are resources and support systems here to help. Best Best Co. supports those resources by donating a portion of our profits because we want to give back in any way shape or form to organizations that resonate with us so deeply.
